The Shetland Classic Motor show has gone from strength to strength, not only in the range and number of vehicles and machines exhibited, but also in the number of visitors and attendance at the biennial event.

A treasure trove of classic and fascinating machinery will be on display in four halls and in the surrounds of the splendid Clickimin Leisure Complex on the outskirts of Lerwick. On display, along with supporting activities, are likely to be:

  • 150+ Classic Cars
  • 130+ Motorcycles from Veteran to Modern Classics
  • Many Classic Commercial Vehicles
  • Prestige and Single-Make Owner Club Participation
  • Tractors and Agricultural Equipment
  • Working Stationary Engines
  • 50+ Cycles through the ages
  • Land Rovers
  • Cruiser Bikes
  • American Vehicles
  • Historic Military Vehicles
  • Model Vehicles, Motoring Memorabilia and Photographs
  • Classic Foy on Saturday evening
  • Videos, Displays and Competitions
  • ‘Cruise in Company’ Tours around Shetland
  • Guided Coach Tour to the islands of Yell and Unst

Shetland has an ever growing number of classic vehicles and an increasing number of enthusiasts restoring a huge variety of vehicles. The friendship and hospitality of the islands are also reasons why our visitors return year after year in a fascinating selection of impressive exhibits. There are many interesting ‘new’ exhibits, working machinery, displays, tours of the islands, music and friendly enthusiasts at each show.
