  1. Your first three responders all seem to be in agreement then! And what a vastly imporved and presentable website. Photos covering everything from high quality engineering to Volve F7s. Excellent.
Looking forward to another great show, all the best.

Just looking at your website and at the pictures of the surprisingly large and varied collection of vehicles you have. One thing I cannot see though is a date when the Show takes place. I do appreciate that the ’site is not finished!

Summer is a time away and as I type, here in North Somerset, we have just had another 4″ of drifting snow so my Jaguar is staying warm and dry in the garage..since early December in fact due to pouring rain then over three weeks of snow now! I think Shetland is warmer!

  3. I wonder how many people must have passed through this website but not left a comment?
If you are one of those, let the organisers know what you think by way of a comment, or better still go up and tell them face to face in June. If you haven’t been to this show then give it a try – I guarantee you won’t have experienced anythins like it – and I mean that in a good way!

well guys, a great new website, ferries booked, hotels booked, we are of course coming “home”, how could we miss the best event of the year in the motoring world, save us four tickets for the dance, four plates of soup and bannocks please, and a vodka or two

To all of you passing through this website, don’t, STOP, read it and then book your trip, you will never find another event like this, you have to visit this event once in your life if you are into classic cars, bikes, vans, lorries, cycles, models, stationary engines, tractors, there is something for everyone, the whole event is spread over 4/5 days but come and go as you please, do as much or as little as you want, and rememeber Shetland has some of the UK’s best roads, no trafiic, need i say more!!

Eight full size Road Traction Engines will be coming to the event being brought north by North Link. The engines that weigh on average 8 ton will be transported on low loaders 4th/5th June, two on each trailer. Hopefully they should add even more interest to the event. Once landed, the engines will all prepare to get up steam and during the event, drive around parts of the Island. Looking forward to coming to the Shetland Show for the first time this year. The prospect of seeing Shetland was the only way I could get my wife to join me at a vintage car rally, so we have booked to go on the ‘Cruise in Company’ tours and the North Isles trip as well.
